Parking in the law enforcement vehicle parking area in the easterly side of the basement of the Courthouse and the parking areas in and around the Humboldt County Correctional Facility shall be administered at the direction of the sheriff. If, in the judgment of the sheriff, it is necessary to protect vehicles used as evidence for court proceedings, he/she may designate one or more of the spaces assigned to his/her department for such storage.
