5.1 ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS

The following persons are eligible to apply for a permit or variance; (Former Section INL#317- 3; CZ#A315-6(A)(1-2); Ord. 894, Sec. 1, 12/19/72)

5.1.1The property owner, or owners;

5.1.2An authorized agent of the property owner, or owners.

5.2 APPLICATION FORM AND FILING FEE

5.2.1Applications for permits and variances shall be filed with the Community Development Services Department on forms provided by the Department and completed by the applicant. The Department shall maintain a list which specifies the information that will be required from applicants for development projects. 5.2.1.1A description, including maps, plans and other relevant data, of the proposed development, project site and vicinity sufficient to determine whether the project complies with the requirements of these regulations. The description shall include sufficient information concerning the existing use of land and water areas in the vicinity of the site of the proposed project, to the extent that the applicant can reasonably ascertain this information for the vicinity surrounding the project site.

5.2.1.2A legal description of the applicant’s interest in all the property upon which work is to be performed.

5.2.1.3A dated signature by the property owner, or owners, authorizing the processing of the application, and, if desired by the property owner, an authorization for a representative to bind the property owner in matters concerning the application.

5.2.1.4Such additional information that the Director may determine is necessary to determine whether the development is consistent with the County General Plan and these regulations.

5.2.1.5A statement that processing of applications which do not contain truthful and accurate information necessary to review the applications may be delayed or may result in permit denial, or revocation if the inaccurate information is discovered after approval or issuance of the permit.

5.2.2When the application is filed, the applicant shall pay the application fees prescribed by resolution of the Board of Supervisors, and provide all other plans, specifications and information that may be required by the Director for compliance with applicable regulations.
