(a) The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited at all times in each of the following locations:

(1) Bear Creek Road. Parking is prohibited at all times on both sides of Bear Creek Road (County Road No. 6B155) from Post Mile 0.00 to Post Mile 0.13 (P.K. 0.00 to P.K. 1.21). (Ord. 1587, § 1, 4/12/1983)

(2) Church Street. On the north side of Church Street (County Road No. 6B130) from the west line of Locust Street (County Road No. C6B115) to the east line of an alley which is parallel with and between Redwood Drive (County Road No. 6B105) and Locust Street (County Road No. C6B115) and which runs from the South line of Conger Street (County Road No. C6B145) to the north line of Church Street (County Road No. 6B130.)

(3) Church Street. On the south side of Church Street (County Road No. 6B130) from the west line of Locust Street (County Road No. C6B115) to a point 110 feet (33.5 meters) westerly thereof.

(4) Conger Street. On both sides of Conger Street (County Road No. C6B145) from its intersection with the east line of Redwood Drive (County Road No. 6B105) to its intersection with the west line of Locust Street (County Road No. C6B115). (Ord. 768, § 1, 6/1/1971)

(4.5) River Access Road. The parking of vehicles on the north side of River Access Road (County Road No. 6B159) is hereby prohibited from Post Mile 0.0 to Post Mile 0.105 (P.K. 0.0 to P.K. 0.17). (Ord. 2337, § 2, 1/18/2005)

(5) Sprowel Creek Road. On the north side of Sprowel Creek Road (County Road No. C6B095) between the easterly traveled way of Sunnybank Lane, a private road, and a point located 15 feet (4.57 meters) easterly therefrom.

(b) Loading Zone. The westerly curb line of Redwood Drive (County Road No. 6B105), from a point located 25 feet (7.62 meters) south of the edge of a driveway located opposite the intersection of Maple Lane (County Road No. 6B125) with Redwood Drive (County Road No. 6B105), to the north edge of the next driveway located to the south shall be designated a loading zone. The parking of vehicles is hereby restricted to the loading or unloading of passengers or freight for a time not to exceed ten (10) minutes. (Ord. 768, § 4, 6/1/1971)

(c) Bus Zone. The following curb space is hereby designated to be used for the loading and unloading of passengers of buses engaged as common carriers: (Ord. 2137, § 1, 12/17/96)

Along the north side of Church Street (County Road No. 6B130) from the east line of Redwood Drive (County Road No. 6B105) to the west line of an alley which is parallel with and between Redwood Drive and Locust Street (County Road No. C6B115) and which runs from the south line of Conger Street (County Road No. C6B145) to the north line of Church Street.

No parking of any other type of vehicles shall be allowed at any time in the area that is specified in this subsection. (Ord. 768, § 5, 6/1/1971)

(d) Loading Zone. The parking of vehicles, except for loading and unloading, is hereby prohibited at all times on both sides of that certain alley in Garberville which is parallel to and between Redwood Drive (County Road No. 6B105) and Locust Street (County Road No. C6B115) and which runs from the south line of Conger Street (County Road No. C6B145) to the north line of Church Street (County Road No. 6B130). (e) Conger Street. The parking of vehicles, on the third and fourth Friday of every month, from the hour of 8:00 a.m. to the hour of 5:00 p.m., on the north side of Conger Street (County Road No. C6B145) in Garberville from its intersection with the east line of Locust Street (County Road No. 6B115) to a point 95 feet (28.95 meters) easterly of said intersection with Locust Street, is hereby restricted to vehicles which are under the control of public officers or employees who are on official duty. The restriction provided herein shall not be applicable on Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays. (Ord. 1130, § 1, 4/19/1977; Ord. 2137, § 1, 12/17/1996; Ord. 2513, § 1, 2/4/2014)

(f) The parking of vehicles, from the hour of 9:00 a.m. to the hour of 6:00 p.m., on the following described streets and highways is hereby restricted to two (2) hours. (Ord. 1383, § 1, 2/5/80; Ord. 1604, § 1, 7/19/83; Ord. No. 2266, 03/12/2002; Ord. 2137, § 1, 12/17/96)

(1) Redwood Drive. Redwood Drive (County Road No. 6B105), on the east and west sides thereof, from the south end of Garberville at the SH101 northbound off ramp to the north end of Garberville at the SH101 northbound on ramp. (Ord. 2137, § 1, 12/17/1996)

(2) Church Street. Church Street (County Road No. 6B130), on the south side thereof, from the east line of Redwood Drive to a point 110 feet (33.52 meters) west of the east line of Locust Street (County Road No. 6B115).

(3) Maple Lane. Maple Lane on the north and south sides thereof, from the west line of Locust Street to the east line of Redwood Drive.

(4) Sprowel Creek Road. Sprowel Creek Road (County Road No. 6B095), on the north and south sides thereof, from the west line of Redwood Drive to the east abutment of the Sprowel Creek Road overpass on U.S. Highway 101.

(5) Melville Road. Melville Road (County Road No. C6B110),

on the north and south sides from the east line of Redwood Drive to the west Line of Locust Street. (Ord. 2137, § 1, 12/17/1996)

(6) Locust Street. Locust Street, on the west side from the north line of Melville Road (County road No. C6B110) to P.M. 0.12 (PK 0.19) and from P.M. 0.14 (PK 0.23) to the south line of Church Street. (Ord. 2137, § 1, 12/17/1996)

The restriction provided by this subsection shall not be applicable on Sundays or legal holidays, but shall be applicable on all other days throughout the year. (Ord. 768, § 8, 6/1/1971; Ord. 1207, § 1, 3/21/1978)

(g) Redwood Drive. Diagonal parking is required unless otherwise marked or signed on Redwood Drive (County Road No. 6B105) from Melville Road (County road #C6B110) to the north end of Garberville at the SH101 northbound on ramp. (Ord. 2137, § 1, 12/17/1996)

(h) Redwood Drive. Parking is restricted to a maximum of one hour at all times on the west side of Redwood Drive (6B105), south of Bear Gulch Bridge and north of the Highway 101 Interchange, between P.M. 0.60 to P.M. 0.73 (P.K. 0.95 to P.K. 1.16). (i) East Branch Road. The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited at all times on the south side of East Branch Road (County Road No. 6B175) from the east line of Benbow Drive (County Road No. 6B180) to the west line of Palomino Way (County Road No. 3B169), and the north side from Post Mile 0.92 to Post Mile 1.10 (P.K. 1.46 to P.K. 1.74). The restriction provided by this subsection shall be applicable only on those days devoted to the Garberville Rodeo, and when appropriate signs giving notice that parking is restricted have been posted at intervals not to exceed 500 feet along said south side of East Branch Road (County Road No. 6B175). (j) River Access Road. The parking of vehicles within the parking court at the end of River Access Road (County Road No. 6B159) is hereby prohibited between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. (County Road 6B159) from Post Mile 0.105 to Post Mile 0.11 (P.K. 0.17 to P.K. 0.18). (k) Sprowel Creek Road Overpass. The parking of vehicles on both sides of the overpass on Sprowel Creek Road (County Road No. 6B095) is hereby prohibited between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. between Post Mile 0.13 and Post Mile 0.09 (P.K. 0.21 to P.K. 0.15).

(l) Sprowel Creek Road. The stopping or parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on the east side of Sprowel Creek Road on Thursdays during the hours of 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., except by permit, between Post Mile 0.038 and Post Mile 0.058 (P.K. 0.061 to P.K. 0.093). Pursuant to Section 22651(n) of the California Vehicle Code, any peace officer, as defined in Chapter 4.5 of Title 3 of Part 2 of the California Penal Code, or a regularly employed and salaried employee, who is engaged in directing traffic or enforcing parking laws and regulations, of a city, county or jurisdiction of a state agency in which a vehicle is located, is hereby authorized to, and may, remove, or cause to be removed, any vehicle parked or left standing in violation of this section.
