435-5. Motor Vehicles Prohibited.

No person shall drive, propel or cause to be propelled any motorized vehicle on or upon any Class I bikeway except as follows:
(a) Motorized vehicles legally operated upon a permanently constructed driveway that crosses a Class I bikeway, for the sole and limited purpose of crossing such Class I bikeway;
(b) Motorized maintenance and construction vehicles permitted by the Director of Public Works;
(c) Motorized law enforcement, fire department, and ambulance vehicles;
(d) Motorized vehicles that are otherwise lawfully permitted to use a Class I bikeway, such as battery-powered wheelchairs. (Ord. 2731, § 5, 2/6/2024)
