Any person violating or failing to comply with any provision of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined an amount not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days, or be both so fined and imprisoned, for each offense.
