Permits issued pursuant to this division shall be valid only for the unexpired portion of the calendar year in which the application is made. All permits shall expire and become null and void at the end of each calendar year. Permits may be renewed from year to year upon filing of a written application, the payment of the fee, and the giving of the faithful performance bond as provided for in § 621-4 of this chapter.
